June 18

June is a big month for us with anniversaries and birthdays. We started out with Maddux turning 10 this year. His parents took him and Griffin to New York for his birthday and had a great time he saw all the special places everyone goes too.
On June 11 we celebrated our 49th anniversary! Next year the big 50! Our friends Martha and Raleigh Hall celebrated their 48 so we all went to the Arizona Broadway Dinner Theatre and saw Bye Bye Birdie. On June 17 Jim had his 43 birthday now both he and Jon are 43 for four months. Tomorrow Kristi turns 35 she is the baby of the family.
Today Leslee and her children and Ashley and I went to the theatre and saw Charlotte's Web preformed by the youth actor guild, they all enjoyed it.
Tomorrow we are taking Ashley to Pine with us for the week end while Jim and Kristi go to Prescott for the week end for their birthdays.

Well I never finished my entry from June, I had to wait for help on importing some pictures.
I will give you a summary of my summer so far.
We had Leslee's children for a week while she drove back to Florida with a friend who was moving. They were very unhappy for a few days but then things got better and we all had a good time with crafts, a ride on new Light Rail, a movie, a trip to the Arizona Falls ( a power plant that makes electricity from the water in the Arizona canal. It is just down the way from us and is a fun place to visit.

We took a trip to Pine for the end of summer before Katelynn and Matthew started school. Grandad took them fishing to Tonto Creek , we had Uncle Jim's new invention to try out the new Fish Clipper and it worked great. It is a safety clipper to keep your fishing lures from getting tangled up.

We hope to make it back to Pine next week end and get out of this heat. Would you believe when I got into my car today at 2PM the temp. read 120 in my car! By the time I got home is had gone down to 118! I think it is time to head for California! We are planning on going to Moss Beach, CA in September to visit Pat and Lee.
